·        Play music based on a style or combination of styles.

·        Save tracks to their own personal set of tracks.

·        Play tracks that have a particular keyword in the title or description. For instance if you type “Heaven” in the keyword filter Livestew will only play tracks that use the word “Heaven” in their title or description.

·        Flag artists if they misrepresent their music, steal someone else’s music or if you pay them for music and they don’t send you the mp3 file.

·        Replay songs from the search or playlist sections for up to 40 seconds.

Can I choose which songs I want to play?

Not directly, you can create settings and the player will try to choose what best suits those settings.

I tried to upload a zip but its not working?

If you include any files in the zip that are not mp3 files with “.mp3” as the last four characters of the filename your upload wont go through. The best way to upload in bulk is to make a folder for one album of music and put all the tracks you want to upload in that folder. Make sure the files are named correctly and than zip that folder.

Why can I only replay songs for 40 seconds?

We hope you’ll support artists by purchasing their music. If you can play any track at any time we think you’ll have less incentive.

Can I change the name of a track after I’ve uploaded it?

You can change the following details which apply to all of your tracks

·        Your website

·        Artist Name

·        Location

At a later point we may add that functionality but for now you’ll have to delete the track from you mystuff page and upload again to make the correct changes.

What happens to the names of my tracks when I upload a zip file?

Be sure to name your mp3 files the exact names of the songs as you want them to appear. Livestew will use mp3 file names without the “.mp3” extension as your  song titles.

Can anyone download my music?

Actually no one can download your music. Livestew is a mediator between you and your fans. For instance if someone clicks the “buy” button we send an email from the potential buyer to you.

Can I sell my music on Livestew?

If a listener clicks the “buy” button we send an email from the potential buyer to you notifying you that a listener wants to purchase your music. That email will contain their contact info and a way to request payment from them. It is 100% your responsibility to email the listener an mp3 file after receiving payment. If you accept payment from a listener and do not send them an mp3 file in return you will be blacklisted and no longer able to post your music. If your not sure how to email an mp3 we’ll be posting a tutorial on how to do that soon.

Can I post music for more than one band?

Yes, but you’ll need a different email address for each band you upload music for
